History

WD Potato Limited was first established in 1972 by Walter Davidson. Walter arrived from England 45 years ago with $15.00 in his pocket. Few could have predicted the enormous success that would eventually become of WD Potato Limited. Upon arrival in Canada Walter began working a farm job that dealt primarily with cattle and grain but eventually moved on to growing potatoes. Walter started working for Cranes Farms, when they decided to sell, Walter started his dream vision and bought the farm. From there he grew his dream to what it is today.
